White hair mixed with the dark (salt and pepper) seems to run in my family at young ages. My sisters bangs (she is 28) are completely half white and half dark. I never noticed that I had this too until tonight (I normally have alot of gel in my hair). I have a great deal now.....what the?!?
I guess that makes me hip right??
In case he didn't get my email. This post is to wish my father a Happy Father's Day. Hope you have a good day dad.

Rain. Music. Henna. Ice Cream & Sheryl Crow.
I ventured out to the Sound Of Music Festival with some friends. I got a henna tattoo (considering I don't think I could ever get a real one) that is the Chinese Glyph for Honour on my wrist. I thought it was something new. Never done that before. On the long walk back from the bathrooms, towards the main stage, I got one of those swirly vanilla chocolate ice cream cones....mmmmm good. Then it was time for the music which was David Usher. It was really decent, I like a couple of songs from his first solo CD ie. "Jesus Was My Girl". He came out for an encore and sang some Ozzy.......odd, but cool nonetheless!
The day was filled with rain. Early on there was a thunderstorm. Sorry, a bone-rattling thunderstorm. This was when I went out to aqquire some food from round the corner. I did not let the downpour stop me. I walked all the way, and got soaked. So there I wandered, down the street in the pouring rain, with my walkman pumping equal amounts of Sheryl Crow into either ear.
It rained for a little while at the festival too, but it wasn't that bad. A wise man once said "A brave man likes the feel of nature on his face, but a wise man knows enough to come in out of the rain."

Woke up this morning rather cheerily. I guess the fact that it is Friday helps. However, I feel that overall I am in good spirits. Finished 3rd HP book, and am onto the fourth. I don't need to tell ya it is cool. You know that. I think I ate way to many grilled cheese sandwiches last night for dinner....felt a bit wonky before bed. S'okay now though.
Note To Self: don't eat too many grilled sandwiches.....and for crying out loud, stop making notes to yourself!
*Listening To "Emma Discovery" by The Anniversary*
More later perhaps.

Brett has his convocation today. Congrats to my buddy! He did it!
I have come to believe that I am the GROOVEMASTER GENERAL ....or at least some kind of Major Funkiness. Either way I come off sounding way hipper than I am! Rad!
Busy day again today.
I have had my fill with swanky-ness. The only thing I will dress up for this summer is the wedding. I refuse to cater to the masses and not where the stuff that I dig. I feel a little hipper than I look.

Took my mom to see Spiderman. She really liked it. Considering she hasn't been to the theatre in about 10 years....hmmmm....funny.
Cooled off a great deal since last night. Muggy, muggy, muggy....blecchh. I shouldn't have a problem sleeping tonight. Considering that I am heading off to the coffee shop to do some reading, I would expect that I will be tired when I get in later.
Have too many issues going on in the family recently. My great aunt Hope passed away yesterday. She was 98 years old. She lived a long life, and was full of vigor to her last day. What a great woman! She will be missed.
On to the third Harry Potterbook now, and it is just as engrossing as the first 2 were! I dig it! Those of you who haven't read them....they are as good as people say! Give them a try.

OK, I have just listened to "Hate To Say I Told You So" by The Hives like 10 times in a row, literally.....damn that song just gets me going!!
So, it is strange how many things have changed in the last little while. I never used to like Hockey....I do now. I never strayed from much of anything other than electronic music.....I have actually left that behind now. I don't think I have heard an electronic song I liked other than Prodigy's new one. My music repetoire has now gone completely punk and indie. The Anniversary, Dashboard Confessional, The Hives, The White Stripes, Ash, The Pixies, Hefner, Sleater Kinney, ANFG, Bonfire Madigan. Surprising, I used to spend too much time to try to find new music to listen to, and there was an entire cornucopia of music to be found all at once! I think I have 6 new mix CD's made, and I must say that keeping my eyes open in the morning is alot better when you have Sleater Kinney "Get Up" blaring in your head!! Rock it!
Too much going on this week. To be honest I don't know what day I will get home before bedtime. Last couple of days have been hectic, and the next few are the same. I feel revived, after all the time spent with nothing to do. Good stuff.
I have really gotten used to wearing what I want to wear, and not caring what the heck anyone says. If you recall, I gave almost my entire wardrobe away to the Salvation Army. Needed a change, well I have begun rebuilding a new one, and have quite a few new things. I am price concious, and so alot of my stuff looks like it came from the 70's.....sweet. I think the best is my shirt that looks like I am "a player on an intermural soccer team for a youth hostel in Switzerland in 1976"....I sh*t you not, it is friggin wicked!
More when I get a chance.
